On October 1st, FIFA recently promulgated new regulations on all the remaining matches of the year. The regulations stated that if the quarantine period exceeds 5 days, the club can not release players to the national team.
The regulations state that the club may not release a player to the national team under the following circumstances:
1. The country or region where the club is located requires quarantine for more than 5 days or the competition location requires quarantine for more than 5 days;
2. There is a travel ban in the country or region where the club is located and where the competition is located;
3. Players of the representative team have not received special immunity granted by relevant government agencies.
According to the latest regulations, entry from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other places must still be quarantined for 14 days, which means that the Chinese Super League or Chinese Football Club can refuse their foreign aid to return to the national team to participate in the game.
Previously, the Chinese Super League foreign aid China Evra, Long Dong and others were selected for their national team's squad. It is not yet certain whether they will participate in the game with the team.
